James and Paul braved the freezing conditions at Woodland Lakes near Thirsk, North Yorkshire on Tuesday 9/1/18. These well-stocked lakes usually throw up decent catches even when it’s cold. However, having been frozen solid just the day prior to fishing, it was never going to be that easy for them on Kestrel Lake! Nonetheless, our valiant pair did manage to catch a few fish with the help of ‘perfect’ tools, Cadence 11ft Match rods and 11ft Feeder rods. Enjoy!
